Everything was simply really good. Spent our time lovely in this ideal hotel. The personnel was very kind and affable, and the host family too. We were offered a clean room with a fan, movies plus bathroom. The venue was in a marvellous location near the beautiful beach in mirissa👍❤

The location was good and amazing because it was next to restaurants and supermarkets and the beach and friendly family and the bus station. The room was cozy with a shared bathroom and the staff amiable and welcoming.

I had a great stay at Sagopearl Guest. The owner was incredibly kind and always had a smile on her face. She made me feel like I was at home. The breakfast she made was absolutely delicious, and she even prepared tea for me multiple times throughout my stay. The room was small but comfortable, and the shower had perfect water temperature. The location was convenient, with amenities and the beach within a 10-minute walk. The owner also organized a tuktuk driver for my next travels, and even helped negotiate a reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel for a true backpackers experience.

The room only had a fan, so it got a bit hot at times. There were also some mosquitos around, which were a bit annoying.

The decoration at the hotel was simply charming, with colorful Sri Lankan touches that added a cozy and homey feel. The general areas, such as the garden and communal spaces, were well-maintained and inviting. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no stairs to climb or long distances to walk.

I would have loved if the mattresses were a bit more comfortable for a better vacation experience for senior people. The children working there were helpful and caring, but it would have been nice to have some assistance specifically tailored to the needs of older guests.

The family host were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious and we were blown away by the mouth-watering dishes prepared by Sumitha. We already miss the friendly conversations with Sewmi and the fun games of cards. The location was great, not far from both the beach and town. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't miss out!
